Others Assigned

This area will allow you to cross-reference a person involved in a case with different types of parties also involved in those cases. You can search for a quest users or non-quest users, such as an attorney or a guardian ad litem. Then of those cases that they are involved in, you can narrow the list to only those cases that have a specific type of ROLE in them. For example, if as a probation officer, you wanted to see a list of your cases where there was an Interpreter, or a Guardian Ad Litem, or a Private Attorney, or a Victim, or any specific Role.

FROM THE MENU: Supervision, Others Assigned

  • User ID: type in the Quest User ID of the person you are searching for. If they are not a quest user, click on the LOOKUP button at the bottom of the screen and do a name search to find the person.
  • Other person’s role: Select the role of the Names Currently Assigned to the Case that you wish to display.
  • Events between: You can narrow your search results to a specific date range.
  • Event Type: You can narrow your search results to a specific type of event.
  • Only Court events: You can narrow your search results to only show events that have a court selected.
  • Only my events: You can narrow your search results to only show those events that you are attached to.
  • Deadlines between: You can narrow your search results to only include deadlines between a specific date range.
  • Deadline type: Will narrow the search results to a specific type of deadline.
  • Requirement type: Will narrow the search results to only those with a specific requirement type.

Click the SUBMIT button or press ALT+S to display the results of your selections.

In the following example, the user ID is for a Victim’s Advocate. By choosing the Other Person’s role as Victim, we get a list of cases where the Victim Advocate is assigned and where there is a Victim assigned. This list provides the victim contact numbers and the case they are a victim in.
