Closing Date

FROM THE MENU: Miscellaneous > Financial > Closing Date

Once you verify you are balanced, and all financial transactions have been completed for the prior month, you should close the month. This process will not allow any financial transaction to be dated before the financial period closing date. This should NOT be done until all court orders from the prior month have been completed or the orders will not be able to automatically assess fees. I would never close the prior month until after the 15^th of the month.

The financial closed date does print at the bottom of the financial reports.
