Court Call
If you are using the court check in system, this area will allow you to view and work with those cases that are ready for court. As each case is marked “ready” they will be included on this list.
FROM THE MENU: Court, Court Call.
- Court: Select the court you wish to view.
- Include removed: Checked it will show all events, even those disposed. Unchecked it will only display those events that are “ready”.
- Status: The H symbol means you are putting this case on hold. For example, the probation officer is currently in a different court room. The trash can removes the hearing from this list because the hearing has been held.
- Order: This is the order the cases are to be called. You can drag cases to put them into a different order.
- Hearing: This shows some event detail information, which is a link to the full event detail screen. If you hover your mouse over the clock it will display what case assignment people are checked in.
- Ready Time: The time this event was marked ready.
- Last Update: The last time this entry was changed. For example, if it was put on hold, the time that was done would be reflected in the last update column. When it was taken off hold, last update would reflect the time.
- Last Page: This would reflect the time of the last page that was sent. A page can be sent as a text message or as a quest message.
- Page: You can click the pager image to send a page to those people who have a text number in their contact numbers. If you want a message to be sent to quest users, you can update their contact numbers to show their SMS/Text number as the word quest.
Once you have paged someone, it will inform you who was paged. If they are a quest user and set up to receive pages through quest messaging, they will receive a message something like this:
Message will tell you the case number in the que. A que is defined as a line or sequence of people or vehicles awaiting their turn to be attended to or to proceed.
It will tell you the event information and the name of the parties on the event and the court case number. It will also tell you who is calling the cases.
It will also update the last update and the last page times so you can see when you paged them.
When the hearing has been called, you can remove it from the list by clicking on the trash can for that hearing.
