Victim/Witness Assignments

At times, a victim or a witness may call into the office asking questions about their case. Since they are not a name assigned to the case, it can be difficult to find the case they are associated with if they don’t know the name of the parties. This gives an easy way to locate the victim/witness cases.

FROM THE MENU: Case, Victim/Witness Assignments

If the victim or witness happens to have a user ID, you can type that in and press submit. Usually they won’t and you will need to click the Lookup Button and do a name search on the victim or witness.

The system will return the name of the parties on the case, as well as the case number for this victim or witness. You can click on the case number to be taken to the CASE DETAIL screen.
