Case Status History

This area allows you to have a quick overview of the current status of this case. This is also an area that provides us with statistics. We can pull a report that shows how many cases currently have the status of Open for example, or had that status during a specific time frame.

From the MENU: Case, Case Status History.

From the CASE DETAIL Screen:

There is a close case link on this section to help you quickly close the case. It will walk you through every open detail on the case giving you the opportunity to close the detail.

To add a new case status:

Click on the ADD, to get to the Case Status Detail screen.

  • Status date: Type in the date of this status.
  • Status: Select the appropriate status.
  • Status reason: Select the appropriate reason, if applicable. This is useful if you have a status of closed, for example. You may want to add reasons as to why it was closed.

Click on the UPDATE button or press ALT+U to save your changes.

The current case status is shown on the PERSON DETAIL screen and in many other screens.
