This area allows you to change the way your screen is displayed.

FROM THE MENU: Miscellaneous, View

Expert Mode On/Off:

Most screens have drop-down lists so you can see your options to select the best choice. If you have the type of job where you are required to do data input on the same fields over and over again, you may get to the point where you know which letter to type in each field and you no longer need the drop down menus. You can turn expert mode on, then you can just the codes.

FROM THE MENU: Miscellaneous, View, Expert Mode On/Off to switch back and forth between the two modes.

Printer Friendly:

If you have a list or a screen that you want to print, you can click on printer friendly so the screen or report is set up nicely for printing. Your Quest screen may look something like this:

If you click on the Printer Friendly option, your screen will look like this, and on some screens will even print more information that what you see.

Click the Cancel button and the screen will return to normal.

If you have a small display screen and need every inch of available screen to be able to work. The menu defaults to appearing on the left hand side of your screen. Plus there is some sort of graphic normally at the top of the screen

If you have a large enough screen to be able to view like this it is a nice way to keep your screen. However, if you have to scroll to be able to view the whole screen, you may want to move the menu to the top of the screen.

Click on Menu, Miscellaneous, View, Switch Menu Location again to put it back on the side.
